Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Tramper to join our nationwide delivery team. You will operate a curtain side trailer to transport garage doors to builders' merchants and construction sites across the UK, ensuring loads are secured and delivered on schedule.

The role includes regularly checking vehicles, staying compliant with DCPC and tachograph requirements, and communicating with the transport team. The position offers weekends on rota, overtime, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Class 2 C Licence.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every stop.
• Able to work to tight schedules and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks, especially Wales region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garage doors nationwide to builders' merchants and sites.
• Ensure loads are safely restrained using straps.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using company device.
• Provide regular updates to transport team for smooth operations.
• Work long distances with overnight stays when required.
• Participate in training and development programmes.
