Job summary

Smart Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Drivers on behalf of a well-established waste management company based at Quarrington Depot.

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity offering consistent weekday work, overtime opportunities, and the potential to secure a permanent position. You will collect and transport commercial waste using a modern Class 2 fleet, with early starts and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving: 1 year preferred
• HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence (required)
• Experience in waste management is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial waste collections in line with scheduled routes
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety regulations
• Follow company procedures and waste management legislation
