Job summary

Manpower is recruiting for a Class 2 Tanker Driver in Elland. The role offers a fixed schedule (Wed-Sat) with guaranteed 42.5 hours per week at £17.13 per hour and overtime at £25.70.

Yearly bonuses up to £1,000 every 6 months, 28 days holiday, on-site parking, PPE, and comprehensive training. Start ASAP, with an end date around April 2027 depending on weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card and CPC card.
• ADR licence in class 2 in tanks.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Class 2 Tanker Driver

Location - Elland
Contract start - ASAP until April maybe longer

Are you a Class 2 ADR driver seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team at Elland and enjoy:
Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70
Weekends paid at £25.70 ( Saturday & Sunday)
Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.
Yearly Bonuses: Earn up to £1000 every 6 months
Shifts: Working set 4 days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - same set each week

Requirements

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, CPC card

• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check and credit check.

Details

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant truck / HGV licences are welcome to apply.
• The role is due to start in August/ Sept and will run until around the end of April 2027 (weather dependant).
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
