Job summary

Manpower UK in Elland is seeking a Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a client-facing team. Role involves delivering tanker loads with a 42.5-hour guarantee per week, paid at £17.13 per hour, with overtime at £25.70 and weekend rates.

Start ASAP to April (weather dependent) with potential extension, and a yearly bonus up to £1,000 every six months. Shifts are set as four days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with on-site parking, PPE provided and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, CPC card.
• ADR licence in class 2 in tanks.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check and credit check.

Class 2 Tanker Driver

Contract start - ASAP until April maybe longer

Are you a Class 2 ADR driver seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team at Elland and enjoy:

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70

Weekends paid at £25.70 (Saturday & Sunday)

Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: Earn up to £1000 every 6 months

Shifts: Working set 4 days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - same set each week

Details

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant truck / HGV licences are welcome to apply.
• The role is due to start in August/ Sept and will run until around the end of April 2027 (weather dependant).
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
