The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Chain Skip Driver in Blaydon. The role involves delivering and collecting skips across the North East, liaising with customers, and maintaining safety standards.

Hours are typically 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with pay around £15.00 per hour. Applicants should have a UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph card, and a clean record. Local knowledge of Newcastle and the North East is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 2) and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Physically fit to assist with manual tasks and secure loads.
• Good local knowledge of Newcastle and North East area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an 18.5-tonne skip loader as part of daily duties.
• Deliver and collect skips for domestic and commercial customers.
• Complete paperwork including Waste Transfer Notes and digital logbooks.
• Adhere to drivers hours, tachograph regulations and working time directives.
