Job description

A temp-to-perm night shift shunter driver position is available for an immediate start in Melton Mowbray, Leicester.

Hours of work: Sunday - Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00 (37.5 hours per week)

Pay rate: £15 per hour

Job description:

70% of the job - Unloading & Loading warehouse work

• Assist the dispatch team with loading and unloading of vehicles
• Ensure items are securely packaged and protected
• Verify the accuracy of orders being loaded and unloaded
• Wrap items as necessary

30% of the job - Driving onsite

• Move vehicles around on site (off-site driving is not required)
• Swap demountable boxes to correct chassis before the driver's arrival
• Drive vans on site for loading purposes

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license
• Category C license
• Valid tacho card
• Valid CPC card
