Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a local council team in the south of Cambridgeshire. The role involves operating small Swingo and larger Scarab road sweepers to maintain clean and safe public roads.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph cards.
• Proven experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with willingness to undertake manual duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swingo and Scarab road sweepers to clean public roads.
• Use hand tools (hoes, brooms) to loosen debris and clear blockages.
• Familiarise with routes, locations, and team procedures.
