Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a local council team in the south of Cambridgeshire. The role involves operating Swingo and Scarab road sweepers to keep streets clean and safe, with manual duties as needed.

Starting ASAP for an initial 8-week booking, the shift runs 05:45–14:15 with a 30-minute break. Essential requirements include a valid Class 2 HGV licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph cards, and proven Class 2 driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence required.
• CPC and Tachograph cards required.
• Experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Willingness to undertake manual duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate small Swingo and larger Scarab road sweepers.
• Use hand tools to loosen debris and clear blockages.
• Maintain clean and safe public roads in the south of Cambridgeshire.
