A leading builders merchant in the UK is seeking experienced Class 2 Relief HIAB Drivers in Greater London. This full-time role involves delivering building materials, conducting multi-drop deliveries, and maintaining the safety of loads. Candidates must hold a valid HIAB license, have knowledge of building materials, and be physically fit. Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to building sites and homes.

• Plan and adapt delivery routes as necessary.
• Operate vehicles with manual or remote cranes while complying with safety standards.

Job description

Salary: From £37,000 to £39,000 per annum

We are currently looking for experienced Class 2 Relief HIAB Drivers to join our team. Candidates must be flexible in terms of the type of vehicle they are required to drive, which will include a 7.5 tonne Van.

Job Type – Full-Time 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Main purpose of role:

• To deliver building materials to building sites and homes.

Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building materials and other products within London and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading vehicle and maintaining safety and security of loads at all times.
• Providing customers with the highest level of service.
• Planning and adapting routes.
• Operating manual and automatic vehicles with manual or remote cranes.
• Complying with all health and safety requirements on site, on road and at customers premises.

Key requirements:

• A valid HIAB License and experience.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction site safety.
• You must be physically fit.
• Eligibility to work and live in the UK.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
