Job summary

Aligra Bristol in Bristol is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a busy waste collection team in the Yate area. The role offers fixed Monday–Friday shifts, with potential overtime in busy periods, and a strong community service element.

You’ll drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on kerbside routes, load materials, and adhere to health and safety guidelines while reporting issues promptly. Reliability and physical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 driving licence and good driving record.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and all weather.
• Flexibility for occasional weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on kerbside collection routes
• Load refuse and recyclable materials efficiently and safely
• Follow all health and safety policies
• Report any vehicle or route issues promptly
• Assist with vehicle checks and maintenance as needed
