Job summary

Amour Recruitment is partnering with Norse South East to recruit Class 2 Refuse Drivers for their Havant operation. This is a Monday-Friday PAYE role with early starts and finishes, offering regular, long-term work and a stable local position within the community.

As a Class 2 Driver you will operate a refuse collection vehicle, collect household and commercial waste, perform daily vehicle checks and work as part of a dedicated team.

Salary is £31,694 per year (£16.43 per hour).

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence or Cat C required.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Professional attitude.
• Good communication with team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Drive designated routes and collect household and commercial waste.
• Work closely with the refuse collection team.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow health & safety procedures and drivers' hours rules.
• Maintain a professional attitude when in the community.
