Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester North & Oldham are seeking several Class 2 refuse drivers for our Oldham-based client. Start time is 07:00am, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work and a guaranteed 9.25 hours per day. Duties include vehicle checks, tablet updates, courteous customer service, and efficient routing.

The role offers ongoing work within a nationwide network of offices in transport and logistics, with pay rates shown to include holiday pay upfront.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence held for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Updating/use of electronic tablet.
• Providing polite and professional service to customers.
• Navigating routes efficiently and representing the company with a positive attitude.
