Job summary

Worcester City Council is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to join the refuse collection team in Worcester. This is a full-time, ongoing role suitable for both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 2 holders looking to build experience.

You will start at 06:00, work with a small crew, and assist with waste collections across the city. A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required; new passes are welcome, with up to 6 penalty points on your licence.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• New passes welcome to join the team.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Reliable, hard-working and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Drive a refuse collection vehicle (bin wagon).
• Work alongside a small crew.
