Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive the collections vehicle to disposal locations and discharge loads as directed.
• Complete allocated work within planned timescales and log non-collections in the in-cab system.
• Carefully load materials and clear spills, returning containers to property curtilage.

We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join the collections team based in Hounslow. You will work as a part of a small team and will be pivotal in the roadside collection of waste and recycling across West London.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting a variety of waste streams including dry recyclables, refuse, garden waste, food waste or bulky waste from residents and businesses.
• Driving the waste collections vehicle to the approved tip or refuse disposal location and discharge the load as directed.
• Ensuring that all allocated works are completed within the planned timescales and that all non-collections are reported using the in-cab system.
• Carefully loading materials into vehicles clearing all spillages made during operations.
• Returning all containers neatly to the curtilage of the property.
