Job summary

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Night Drivers for a reputable company in Barnsley. The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off pattern with night shifts from 5 pm to 5 am.

You will drive Class 2 HGVs with tankers to transport effluent and waste water, adhering to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials, and you will maintain driving-hour records. Applicants need a valid Class 2 licence with under 6 penalty points, a CPC, and a willingness to undergo alcohol and drugs testing during

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is required.
• Experience is welcome but full training is provided.
• Willingness to undertake alcohol and drugs testing during induction and on shifts.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Night Drivers for a reputable company in Barnsley.

Location:

Barnsley, United Kingdom

Shift Pattern:

4 on, 4 off (night shifts from 5 pm to 5 am).

Pay Rate:

£17.00 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) with tankers.
• Transport effluent and waste water as part of your duties.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and activities.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Collaborate with team members and follow delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Ideally a min of 2 years experience driving however full drivers assessments and inductions and training will be provided so will consider new passes.
• Willingness to take an alcohol and drugs test during the induction process and on a continuing basis when working on shifts.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
