Job summary

Grundon Waste Management Ltd in Banbury is seeking an LGV Driver to join our depot team. This is a full-time, permanent role with an early start and a defined 44.75-hour week, Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings.

You will be collecting commercial waste from Oxfordshire businesses and representing Grundon with professionalism. You must hold a valid LGV Class 2 licence with DQC and a digital tachograph card; training is provided for other vehicle types.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 2 (category C) licence with DQC and tachograph card.
• Experience with roll-on/roll-off, skips, front end loaders or waste wheelers preferred; training provided.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Salary: Competitive + driver bonus scheme + fully-funded continued CPC held on a working day
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Working hours: 44.75 hours per week (average) - normally Mon-Fri, 5.30am-3pm, plus alternate Sat mornings, 5.30am-10am

About the LGV Driver role

This is a physically demanding role: collecting commercial waste from businesses in the Oxfordshire area.

What we're looking for in our LGV Driver

• Valid LGV Class 2 (category C) licence plus Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and digital tachograph driver card.
• It would be great if you have experience driving roll on roll offs, skips, front end loaders and waste wheelers, but if not, we provide training on a number of different vehicle types.
• Flexible approach.
