Job summary

Driver Hire Teesside is seeking an experienced Class 2 hookloader driver for civil engineering sites in Stockton-on-Tees. This temporary role requires a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and CSCS card, with proven hookloader experience.

You will drive, move skips between sites, operate the hookloader safely, perform daily vehicle checks and complete site paperwork while following site safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a hookloader vehicle.
• Valid CSCS card and CPC required.
• Valid Class 2 (C) licence and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time regs.
• Construction/site-based driving experience.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

Class 2 Hookloader Driver - Stockton-on-Tees

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary

Driver Hire Teesside are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Hookloader Driver for a civil engineering customer based in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is a specialist driving role, so applicants must have previous experience operating a hookloader vehicle as well as holding a valid CSCS card.

The role will involve:

• Driving a Class 2 hookloader vehicle
• Collection and movement of skips/containers between sites
• Safe operation of hookloader equipment
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Working on construction and civil engineering sites
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
• Working closely with site teams and following site safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Category C / Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous hookloader experience - essential
• Valid CSCS Card - essential
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
• Reliable and professional approach
• Comfortable working within construction and civil engineering environments
