Job summary

Routes to Work in Cambuslang is seeking a Class 2 HGV driver for a temp-to-perm role. You will operate skip and hook loader vehicles, delivering and collecting skips from construction sites, and loading/unloading containers.

Starting at 6am or 7am, 40 hours per week with optional Saturday work. All hours over 40 are paid as overtime. Full training provided for suitable candidates who are reliable and safety-conscious.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 2 HGV skip and hook loader vehicles (Full training provided)

Deliver, collect and transport skips and containers from construction sites

Load and unload containers safely

Work across industrial, commercial and construction sites

Follow health, safety and site procedures

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 licence points

Full training provided for suitable candidates
