Job summary

Driver Hire Sheffield is seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to work with a well-known retailer on DIY deliveries across South Yorkshire.

You will operate a HIAB crane with ALLMI C5+E, join a two-person team with a driver’s mate, and benefit from ongoing work, potential permanent placement, weekly pay and an 8-hour shift guarantee.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid HIAB qualification, ALLMI C5 + E.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 and HIAB experience.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Delivering DIY and home improvement products to customers.
• Home deliveries across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
• Operate a HIAB crane and manage loads with ALLMI C5+E.

Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for ongoing work with a well-known retailer.

Driver Hire Sheffield is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our client delivering DIY and home improvement products for B&Q across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley & Chesterfield

Duration: Ongoing work for several months, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

Induction required prior to starting

About the Role:

Delivering DIY and home improvement products to customers on behalf of B&Q

Home deliveries across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas

Operating a HIAB crane and managing your own load using an ALLMI C5 + E qualification

Working as part of a two-person team , you'll always be accompanied by a driver's mate

Rotating shift pattern:

Monday to Friday - 07:00 AM starts

Overtime available

Every alternate Saturday Available - 08:00 AM starts

A customer-facing role where professionalism and excellent customer service are essential

Representing both the client and Driver Hire in a professional manner at all times

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
