Job summary

RECRUITZ LTD in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver with remote grab to join our temporary fleet. You will deliver building materials to a range of customers, perform daily checks, and ensure loads are secure and on time.

Fluency in English and strong attention to detail are essential. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, HIAB remote grab certification, a current Digital Tachograph Card, and an in-date Driver CPC.

Qualifications

• Hold valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• HIAB certification with Remote Brick Grab required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• In-date Driver CPC.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks for roadworthiness and DVSA compliance (AM/PM checks).
• Deliver building materials using HIAB remote grab.
• Ensure loads are secured prior to transport.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Maintain a professional approach with customers and colleagues.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for 4 experiencedClass 2 HIAB Driver (Remote Grab)to carry outtemporary work for our clients in and around Birmingham, delivering building materials to a range of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and in line with planned routes and company procedures.

Previous experience operating a HIAB with a remote brick grab is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and DVSA compliance (AM/PM checks)

• Deliver building materials safely using a HIAB remote brick grab

• Ensure all loads are secured safely prior to transportation

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)

• Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• HIAB certification with Remote Brick Grab (essential)

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
