Job summary

Sewells Reservoir Construction Group Limited is seeking a dedicated Mixer Driver to operate the mixer safely and deliver products to customers with excellent service. You will supervise loading, verify orders with the batcher, and ensure all deliveries are compliant with transport regulations.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence and tachograph card, flexibility with hours, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance while maintaining vehicle condition and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mixer driver in a concrete environment.
• Flexible with working hours and able to adapt to shift patterns.
• Able to perform basic vehicle maintenance and daily checks.
• Must have Class 2 HGV licence and tachograph card.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with customers.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections prior to driving.
• Supervise loading to ensure safe, secure loads.
• Verify loads with batcher against orders and obtain signatures.
• Deliver products safely and provide excellent customer service.
• Drive legally, observe tachograph hours and road laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report accidents.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies.
