Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in the UK is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to perform local deliveries of building materials. You will drive a 26-tonne HGV fitted with a HIAB, delivering to local customer sites and homes, and return to the branch at the end of each day.

Training on HIAB is provided for the right candidate. The role offers regular hours, a 45-hour week, overtime opportunities, and a salary of £42,939 pro rata plus up to £150 monthly personal performance bonus.

Qualifications

• A current Category C / Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• A strong approach to safe and responsible driving.
• Good customer service skills.
• A positive attitude with a can-do approach to tasks.
• HIAB training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to local customer sites and homes.
• Driving a 26-tonne Class 2 HGV with HIAB.
• Safely unloading building materials using the HIAB.
• Completing daily vehicle and safety checks.
• Making sure your load is safe and secure before leaving the branch.
• Providing great customer service at every delivery.
• Working closely with the branch team to keep deliveries running smoothly.
• Following all relevant driving, safety and legal requirements.
