Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver to join a branch team delivering building materials locally. You will operate a 26-tonne HGV with HIAB and make multi-drop deliveries to customer sites and homes, with HIAB training provided if needed.

You’ll work a 45-hour week, typically Monday to Friday, 06:30–16:30, with overtime and Saturday shifts paid at time-and-a-half. A strong focus on safety and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• A current Category C / Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• HIAB training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to local customer sites and homes.
• Drive a 26-tonne Class 2 HGV with HIAB.
• Safely unload building materials using the HIAB.
• Complete daily vehicle and safety checks.
• Ensure loads are secure before leaving the branch.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Work with the branch team to keep deliveries running smoothly.
• Follow all driving, safety and legal requirements.
