Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our branch team for local deliveries of building materials. You’ll operate a 26-tonne HGV with HIAB and be based at the Selco branch, returning each day. The role offers regular hours, a 45-hour week, and opportunities for overtime and extra training.

You’ll benefit from HIAB training if needed, a pro rata salary with performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits as part of our team. A strong customer-service approach is essential.

Qualifications

• A current Category C / Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• HIAB training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to local customer sites and homes.
• Drive a 26-tonne Class 2 HGV with HIAB.
• Safely unload building materials using the HIAB.
• Complete daily vehicle and safety checks.
• Ensure your load is safe and secure before leaving the branch.
• Provide great customer service at every delivery.
• Work closely with the branch team to keep deliveries running smoothly.
• Follow all relevant driving, safety and legal requirements.
