Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Bury for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The role involves 25% driving and 75% picking and manual handling on the back of the truck, with new passes welcome and immediate starts available.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries, pallet breakdowns, and delivering excellent customer service while complying with safety regulations. Start times range from 04:00 to 06:00 with a competitive hourly rate of £15.80.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph knowledge required.
• Ability to manual handle and break down pallets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to customers on daily route.
• Approx. 25% driving and 75% picking and handling goods on back of truck.
• Break down pallets and manually handle goods at delivery points.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Comply with road transport legislation and health and safety regulations.
