Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a safety-focused HGV Driver (Class 2) to deliver products across the region. You will represent the company on customer sites and ensure deliveries meet high service standards while adhering to transport legislation and health and safety rules.

The role offers variety, including operating specialist vehicles and occasional overnight stays when required, with training provided to support continued professional development within a leading construction materials

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 HGV licence with Category C.
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
Hazard awareness and strict safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and courteously to customers.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep equipment clean and roadworthy.
Accurately complete vehicle and transport documentation per laws and procedures.
Follow Health & Safety policies, Working Time Directive, and transport legislation.
Ensure environmental procedures for waste, water, and dust are followed.
Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
Operate specialist vehicles as required and support flexible locations.
