Job summary

TSR Ipswich Ltd is seeking reliable Class 2 Truck Drivers to join our logistics team across Suffolk, including Ipswich, Felixstowe, Bury St Edmunds, Eye and Thetford.

You will safely transport goods, adhere to HGV regulations and maintain excellent customer service. We offer day, night and tramp roles with Monday to Friday work and possible weekend shifts, with immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Class 2 driver (HGV)
• Strong focus on customer service
• Solid knowledge of road safety regulations and driving hours rules

Responsibilities

• Safely operate curtainsider, tipper, flatbed and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Suffolk
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report faults
• Secure loads and maintain load stability during transit
• Keep accurate delivery documentation and communicate delays to dispatch
• Assist with loading/unloading when required
• Follow traffic laws and health & safety regulations
