Job summary

TSR Ipswich Ltd, the People For Your Future, is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 drivers to cover the Suffolk area (Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, and surrounding towns). Shift options include Day, Night and Tramper with Monday to Friday patterns and possible weekends.

Immediate start available on temporary to permanent assignments with reputable clients. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, pre/post-trip checks, keeping accurate logs, and clear communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with valid Class 1 (HGV 1).
• Full CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Max 6 points; no DD/IN/TT/DR offences.
• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collection and distribution.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues promptly.
• Load and unload cargo; ensure proper securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery documents and logs.
• Communicate with dispatchers, clients and team about schedules and delays.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations including driving hours.
