Job summary

Polyframe Products Ltd is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver to join the Lenwade site. The successful candidate will perform deliveries and collections to and from customer sites and other locations as required.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, ensuring safe loads, paperwork checks, and maintaining professional customer interactions. Salary £14.85ph (£37,065.60pa) with overtime; base in Norwich with nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• Holds a Full driving licence valid in the UK for the class of vehicle to be driven.
• Previous experience of multi drop delivery driving and driving the relevant vehicle class.
• Good knowledge of the geography of Great Britain.
• Good standard of personal presentation, spoken English and handwriting.
• Knowledge of legislation affecting commercial vehicle operating procedures.
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Positive, pro-active person with a friendly approach.
• A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload safely using approved methods and aids.
• Ensure payload weight limits and even distribution.
• Secure loads and protect from weather or damage.
• Check paperwork before departure.
• Inspect products on delivery for condition.
• Deliver to customer sites and obtain signatures.
• Observe site rules and health & safety rules.
• Communicate progress and delays with Despatch.
• Return/collection labeling and unloading by shift end.
• Promote company and maintain smart appearance.
• Distribute literature and gather sales intelligence.
