Job summary

Leader Online Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to transport goods across destinations with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service. The role requires a clean driving record, knowledge of load securing, and ability to work independently on long trips.

You will operate under restrictive time schedules, perform basic vehicle checks, and maintain accurate delivery records, while upholding company values and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and traffic laws.
• Strong driving skills with road safety awareness.
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle checks.
• Experience in long-distance driving and load securing.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGVs (Class 2) to transport goods to destinations.
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries per schedule.
• Follow routes, schedules and legal driving regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain delivery records and paperwork.
• Interact professionally with clients and drivers.
• Load/unload, secure goods and use devices safely.
