Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 driver for a temporary position in Ratcliffe on Soar, Nottinghamshire. The role involves up to 8 deliveries/collections per shift to hotel chains across the UK, with tail-lift handling where required.

Starting around 04:00, you will work a 4-on, 2-off pattern, with shifts lasting 9–12 hours. PAYE rate is £16.97 per hour, plus 28 days of holiday pro rata; visa sponsorships are not available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with caged goods and tail lifts
• Experience completing paperwork and due diligence accurately

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Comply with road transport and health and safety regulations
• Complete up to 8 collections or deliveries per shift
• Load and unload caged goods with the use of a tail lift where necessary
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
