Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a Class 2 Driver for full-time, temporary or permanent roles in Stonehouse. £15/hour with all hours and breaks paid. Early starts between 04:00–07:00 and 1–12 daily deliveries to homes and businesses. Requires valid Class 2 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and fitness for manual handling.

New Pass Drivers welcome; role offers ongoing work with potential temp-to-perm opportunities, uniform and PPE provided, and support from a Transport Consultant.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Maximum of 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Start times between 04:00 and 07:00.
• Complete 1 to 12 deliveries per day.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers.
• Heavy lifting and handball required.
• Offload to kerbside or designated delivery location.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
