RE Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for a multi-drop delivery role in Cheltenham. You will deliver fresh dairy products to retail customers in a temperature-controlled environment, with training provided for new drivers.

The role requires a full UK Category C licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and a safety-conscious, customer-focused approach. Night shifts, overtime, and career progression are available.

Class 2 HGV Driver – Category C

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Salary: £36,519.52 per annum + £20 weekly driving safety bonus

Hours: Average 48 hours per week, 5 shifts per week

Shift Pattern: Nights, with start times typically between 11pm and 2am

We are recruiting Class 2 / Category C HGV Drivers to join a busy haulage and distribution operation based in Cheltenham. You’ll be responsible for delivering fresh dairy products and related goods to retail customers across the region, providing a professional, reliable and friendly service.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply! If you’ve recently passed your Category C test and are looking to build your driving career, full training and ongoing development are available.

The Role

You’ll be working on a multi-drop delivery operation in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring products reach customers safely, on time and in excellent condition.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly in line with UK road transport regulations.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to retail customers across the region.
• Loading and unloading goods, including manual handling where required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining product quality, stock rotation and delivery accuracy.
• Following health and safety, food hygiene and security procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally.
• Supporting colleagues with holiday and absence cover when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.

• New pass drivers are encouraged to apply – previous HGV driving experience is advantageous but not essential where training is provided.
