Job summary

Driver Hire Oxford is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers to join a local team delivering essential refuse collection services in Oxford. The role offers a 4-day working week, with early starts and steady hours from Tuesday to Friday, 5:45 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 37 hours per week.

Start times may vary in the Summer. You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle and assist with loading, with an immediate start available and a supportive team behind you.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• CPC card and Tachograph card required.
• Good level of fitness with some manual work.
• Team player with clear communication skills.
• References from previous roles preferred.
• Waste/recycling experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Permanent position Tue–Fri, 5:45 am to 3:30 pm (37 hrs/week).
• Start times may vary in the Summer.
• Local rounds with no long-distance driving.
• Drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle and assist with loading.
