Expect Distribution Limited in Leeds is hiring a Class 2 HGV driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. The role requires adherence to road traffic laws, company procedures and health and safety standards, with a focus on professional customer service.

Working pattern is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Salary is £13.95 per hour, paid monthly, on a permanent contract, based at LS15 8AF in Leeds.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is essential.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital tachograph card must be held.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV vehicles (Class 2) and perform multi‑drop deliveries.
• Carry out tail lift operations and ensure loads are secure.
• Deliver and collect goods according to planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Maintain clean, roadworthy vehicle and accurate delivery paperwork.
