Job summary

ST Selection is seeking a qualified Class 2 HGV Driver to deliver fuels for a national supplier to construction and events sectors. Field based role with the depot in Portbury, Bristol, offering £17-£19 per hour and overtime opportunities.

Working hours are 8-4 Monday to Thursday and 8-3:30 Friday, with overtime paid at time and a half or double time. You will ensure safe deliveries, compliance with ADR and safety procedures, and high levels of customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (category C) licence.
• CPC Driver Qualification.
• Full understanding of Drivers Hours & WTD Regulations.
• Clean Driving Licence.
• Strong focus on safety and professionalism.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to customers across industries.

• Complete proof of delivery paperwork on all deliveries.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to work for a national company who supply generators and fuel to the construction and events sectors.

Working in their fuel tanker, you will be responsible for the safe and prompt delivery of fuels to a wide range of clients across the region.

Job Title - Class 2 HGV Driver

Location - Field based (the depot is based in Portbury, Bristol)

Salary Package - £17-19 per hour + excellent overtime rates (overall earnings £45K+)

Hours - 8-4 Mon-Thurs, 8-3.30 Fri (overtime paid at time and half/ double time)

Main Duties

• Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to customers across a range of industries
• Always provide a high level of customer service
• Comply with all relevant procedures and safe systems of work
• Ensure proof of delivery paperwork is completed on all deliveries
• Maintain full compliance with ADR and health & safety procedures
• Complete all relevant delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
• Willingness to take on other duties as and when required by the business
