Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is seeking a Class 2 Flatbed Driver for a permanent, full-time role in Hucknall. Deliver materials to customer sites and building sites across the area, Monday to Friday with no weekend work.

You will need a Class 2 (C) driving licence, be aged 21 or over, and have up to 6 penalty points. New pass drivers are welcome at £34,000 per year; HIAB training can be arranged for the right candidate.

Class 2 Flatbed Driver

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience
Permanent, Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 45 hours per week

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 (C) Flatbed Driver to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with no weekend work, delivering materials to customer sites and locations across the area. Previous flatbed and site delivery experience is preferred, but we are happy to consider the right driver with the correct attitude and driving experience.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
• Delivering materials to customer sites and building/construction sites
• Loading, securing and safely transporting loads
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service when delivering to site
• Working safely and following all relevant driving and site procedures
• Monday to Friday working

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
Friday: 07:30 - 16:00

45 hours per week

Salary

£34,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience.

About You

We are looking for a professional and dependable Class 2 HGV Driver / LGV Driver who takes pride in their work.

You will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• To be aged 21 or over
• A maximum of 6 penalty points for experienced drivers
• A good attitude and reliable approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work safely and independently

New Pass Drivers Welcome

We are happy to consider newly qualified Class 2 drivers who are looking to start their career in HGV driving.

New pass drivers will be considered at £34,000 per year and must have a completely clean driving licence with no penalty points.

Full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.

HIAB / Crane Experience

HIAB experience is highly desirable, but it is not essential.

If you are the right driver but do not currently hold a HIAB ticket, we are willing to put the right candidate through their HIAB training.
