Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd. is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Night Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Bicester. You will manage multi-drop runs with a pump truck and tail lift, supported by a Driver Mate, on rolling 10-week shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence, CPC and Tachograph qualifications, up to six points on their licence, and provide verifiable references. Night shifts pay £17 PAYE or £21 umbrella, with a minimum of 10 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Category B or higher) is required.
• CPC and Tachograph qualifications are required.
• No more than six points; only listed offences considered for insurance.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience driving HGV Class 2.
• Verifiable references must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections as per policy.
• Report safety issues on standard reports and logs.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to meet delivery schedules and maintain high service levels.
• Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures.

TEMP TO PERM HGV CLASS 2 DRIVERS - NIGHTS

We are currently seeking experienced Class 2 HGV Night Drivers to fill multi drop positions in the Bicester Location. NIGHT DRIVERS, palletised multi drop using a pump truck and tail lift with a Drivers Mate. 10 Week Rolling shift patterns across Monday to Sunday.

You will need:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• At least 25 years old and minimum 6 Months on HGV Class 2
• No more than 6 points on license and due to insurance we can only accept the following offences - CU10, CU20, CU30, CU40, CU50, CU80, MS10, MS20, MS30, MS50, MS60, MS70, MS80, MS90, SP10, SP20, SP30, SP40, SP50, TS10, TS20, TS30, TS40, TS50, TS60, TS70, MW10, PC10, PC20 and PC30).
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Tacho Qualification Card.
• Verifiable references.
• Reliable and a good timekeeper.
• Experience in operating a HGV 2 in a safe manner.

Expectations:

• Confident Class 2 driver.
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

• £17 PAYE
• £21 Umbrella
