Job summary

A leading removals business in Wembley is hiring an experienced HGV driver for a full-time, temporary to permanent role. The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 Licence and CPC Certificate, and will be responsible for driving, loading, and unloading customer goods while traveling across the UK. Experience in removals is preferred. This role offers a competitive pay of £18.00 per hour plus an overnight allowance.

Overview

Driver Hire London West are recruiting on behalf of one of the country's leading removals businesses for an experienced and hard working HGV driver to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay: £18.00ph + overnight allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-Perm

What will make you successful

Your professional driving skills, work ethic and friendly service delivery drive success in this role. A Cat C licence with previous proven driving experience is required. A forklift licence is a bonus but not essential.

Your day to day

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles for removals & storage
• Pack, wrap, load, and unload customer goods
• Being part of - and helping to support and lead - a team to complete jobs efficiently
• Travel across the UK (potential overnight stays)

What you'll need to apply

• Removals experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift / unload goods and be happy to help the customers you're supporting
• FLT Licence (bonus but not essential)
