Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver for an immediate start in Sheffield, responsible for trade and commercial waste collections.

You will perform pre‑collection vehicle checks, complete all paperwork per company guidelines, and follow safety procedures. This is a permanent full‑time role with Monday to Friday shifts starting at 06:00, offering overtime rates and a permanent pathway.

Applicants must be based in the UK and the closing date is 2026-08-02, with a permanent opportunity on offer.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence is required.
• A full UK CPC is required.
• A valid digital tacho card is required.
• Licence held for at least 1 year with 180 days commercial driving experience.

CLASS 2 DRIVERS – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

You will be working for one of the UK’s leading companies in waste, water and energy solutions, being responsible for both trade and commercial waste collections in the Sheffield area.

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to collection’s and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: full-time ongoing work, temp to perm opportunities available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Monday to Friday pay per hour is £16.07overtime rate per hour is £24.11

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 start each day

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered you’ll need:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• A full UK CPC
• A valid digital tacho card

You must have held your licence for at least 1 year with 180 days commercial driving experience
