Job summary

Restore Datashred is seeking a Class 2 Driver for secure collections in Aldershot. The role combines professional driving with hands-on manual handling, collecting confidential documents and ensuring secure transport for destruction.

You will visit client sites, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain paperwork while staying active throughout the day. Permanent, 45 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 06:00–16:00, with no night shifts.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Class 2 driving licence.
• Confident with manual handling and physically demanding work.
• Good understanding of tachograph use & Working Time Directive compliance.
• Professional, customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move heavy sacks of paper to secure containers and transport to the vehicle.
• Collect and transport various waste streams including confidential paper and IT equipment.
• Work across multiple client sites and navigate stairs and long corridors.
• Represent Restore Datashred professionally and maintain client relationships.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
