Restore plc in Trafford Park, Manchester is seeking a Class 2 Driver - Secure Collections Operative. The role combines professional driving with hands-on manual handling to collect confidential documents and ensure secure transport for destruction.

You will visit client sites, perform daily vehicle checks, and use the PDA to record activities while maintaining compliance with driving regulations and safety procedures. A full UK Cat C licence and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Category C driving licence.
• Confident with manual handling and physically demanding work.
• Good understanding of tachograph use and the Working Time Directive.
• Professional and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Reliable, organised and proactive in getting the job done safely.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move heavy sacks of paper and transport to the vehicle.
• Collect and transport secure waste streams including confidential paper and IT equipment.
• Work across client sites, moving waste between collection points, with long periods on feet.
• Represent Restore Datashred with professional customer service.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Load and secure all equipment for each shift.
• Review job sheets and plan routes effectively.
• Record daily activities on the PDA and maintain accurate paperwork.
