Job summary

Extra Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 2 General Haulage Driver for ongoing work in LE19. AM and PM shifts are available, providing regular General Haulage duties and reliable weekly pay.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C), valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and have a professional, punctual approach. We offer 28 days paid holiday per year, a company pension scheme, and ongoing, long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous General Haulage experience preferred.
• Flexible to work AM and/or PM shifts.
• Good communication and timekeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Complete General Haulage delivery and collection routes
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely
• Complete required delivery paperwork and records
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times
