Job summary

Extra Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 General Haulage Driver for ongoing LE19-based work. AM and PM shifts available with regular deliveries and collections.

The role requires a full UK licence (Class 2), CPC and Tachograph compliance, and reliable, punctual service. Previous haulage experience preferred; strong communication and timekeeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous General Haulage experience preferred.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Flexible to work AM and/or PM shifts.
• Good communication and timekeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Complete General Haulage delivery and collection routes.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and records.
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times.
