Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver based in Lichfield to join a high-volume deliveries role. You will be dedicated to a key new contract, delivering and collecting goods with professionalism and a strong customer focus.

The role requires a valid Category C licence, CPC, tachograph card and solid knowledge of road safety and driver compliance. Excellent service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety requirements.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Previous multi drop or contact distribution experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently complete scheduled deliveries and collections in line with customer requirements.
• Act as the dedicated driver supporting a key new contract, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Load, secure and unload goods in accordance with company procedures.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all relevant road traffic legislation, driver hours regulations and company policies.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.

This role has been created to support a significant new customer contract, and the successful candidate will be dedicated exclusively to servicing this account, playing a key role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
