Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for the Clitheroe depot. Working Sunday to Thursday with a 10:30pm start, you will complete 1 delivery and 1 collection per night and operate a Class 2 vehicle safely.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply and there is a guaranteed minimum 8 hours per shift. The role offers PAYE rates of £22ph on Sundays and £17ph Monday to Thursday, with additional benefits such as pension contributions and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• New passes are welcome.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Complete 1 Delivery & 1 Collection per night.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Comply with road transport legislation and company policies.
