Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a national logistics business based in Middlewich. Expect weekday work with regular local deliveries, a modern fleet, and competitive pay.

This role is for experienced Class 2 Drivers, LGV Drivers, or Cat C Drivers with opportunities for ongoing work and reliable shifts. PAYE and umbrella PAYE pay options are available at £16.00–£19.00 per hour, Mon-Fri, with 28 days’ paid leave and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of safe driving and manual handling practices.
• Reliable, professional approach with excellent time management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods from the Middlewich hub to customer locations using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Complete between 1 and 6 deliveries per shift within a 30-mile radius of the depot.
• Load and unload deliveries where required.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all road traffic legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
