Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Preston Brook is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent role. You will deliver home improvement products on a multidrop basis, maintain records, and operate company vehicles safely.

The role runs Tuesday to Saturday, 48 hours per week, with early start times. Benefits include annual salary of £41,725.65, overtime pay, CPC training, holiday pay, pension, healthcare and discounts, plus funded courses and Apprenticeships for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Multidrop delivery experience is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment DBS check.
• Be prepared to commute to Preston Brook for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home improvement products to customer premises (multidrop)
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using Tachomaster and manual entries
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure products are checked off the vehicle and delivery paperwork is accurate
• Keep customers informed of ETA and communicate issues politely
