Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a leading logistics company in Biggleswade. The role offers temp-to-perm potential, an immediate start, and full-time hours with stable, ongoing work.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries across CB, CM and PE areas, ensure timely, courteous service, and uphold safety and compliance on every shift.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Category C) driving licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements.
• 21 years of age or over for insurance purposes.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections.
• Carry out curbside deliveries to commercial and residential customers.
• Use an electric pump truck to unload palletised freight.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before starting route.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where required.
• Provide a professional and courteous service at every delivery point.
• Adhere to road transport legislation and driver hours regulations.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on daily delivery volumes and traffic conditions.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop pallet network deliveries across theCB, CM and PE postcode areas.

Your daily duties will include:

• Completing multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections
• Carrying out curb side deliveries to commercial and residential customers
• Using anelectric pump truckto safely unload palletised freight
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks before commencing your route
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at every delivery point
• Following all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations and company procedures
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A validClass 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• A validDriver CPC Qualification Card
• A validDigital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of1 year's Class 2 driving experience
• No more than6 penalty pointsfor minor offences
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Be21 years of age or overfor insurance purposes
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• A reliable and professional approach to work
