Job summary

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting a Class 2 Driver (Category C) for a position in the James Brindley Way area of Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. The role offers regular Monday to Friday hours, weekly pay, and ongoing support with overtime opportunities available.

As a frontline driver, you will collect and deliver secure shipments between service centres, hubs and customer locations, ensuring safety, high service standards and compliance with transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Deliver and collect secure shipments in line with operational schedules.
• Plan and manage daily routes efficiently to meet service deadlines.
• Ensure the safe handling and security of shipments at all times.
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and transport documentation.
• Comply with all road traffic legislation, transport regulations, and company policies.
• Follow EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, transport teams, and management.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Support operational requirements during peak periods when required.
